Barcelona and Catalonia Day Tours and Guided Hikes - Suggested Itineraries
Below are our suggested itineraries for your private day tours and guided hikes of Barcelona and Catalonia. These suggested itineraries can be booked as described, or you can contact us today and we can discuss how we can amend them to your liking, including mixing parts of different tours or hikes that are in the same general areas.
Most of the suggested chauffeur-driven tours are based on a full day tour of about eight hours, with a Barcelona city pick up and drop off, where we'll collect you from your door. Most of the guided hikes are based on a full day tour of about nine hours.
Our Barcelona city walking tours are three-hour tours, and we'll also collect you and drop you off at your door.
The pick up and and drop off locations are entirely flexible and you and your party can be collected and returned to any location within Catalonia, with the tour amended to suit your needs.
As the itineraries are full day tours, they include recommendations for lunch stops in restaurants serving high quality, traditional Catalan cuisine. Most of the tours also have the option for a specially prepared, gourmet Catalan picnic for lunch. The gourmet picnics include a local organic wine and Cava (Catalan Champagne) from one of our favourite organic Penedès vineyards.
Along with lunch, each full day tour includes one or two breaks in selected small towns or villages, where you will be able to savour the atmosphere and delights of local Catalan cafes, and immerse yourself more fully in the localities.
Where suitable, the tours can also be run as half day tours, which can be four to five hours long depending.
Our guided hikes are designed as day-long tours, with most of the hikes involving about 2 to 2.5 hours of walking in the morning, followed by a gourmet picnic or restaurant lunch, and another activity such as a visit to a medieval village in the afternoon. Below are 12 suggested guided hikes, and all of them can be amended to suit your needs, including extending them into longer day hikes, or multi-day hikes.
