Morning
Tour leader Killian Driscoll will pick you up from your chosen location, and you’ll start your tour with Killian introducing the walk ahead, and answering any questions you may have. Throughout the walk, Killian will share with you his knowledge of the history and archaeology of the region.
The Gothic Quarter and el Born are undoubtedly amongst the most iconic neighbourhoods of Barcelona. During this walking tour you'll explore the charming medieval streets and plazas, while you wind your way across the old town. You'll discover the ancient Roman roots of the city, and see how the city evolved from Roman to medieval times. You'll visit el Call, the medieval Jewish Quarter at the heart of the town, and learn about the Spain's Jewish communities and the infamous Spanish Inquisition.
You'll discover the intriguing stories of Barcelona's moving buildings, and how the Gothic Quarter was re-imagined and reconstructed in the twentieth century to become one of Europe's most famous Gothic city centres.
Midway through the tour, you'll stop at a local cafe to have a refreshment and watch Barcelona's local life go by.
